Abstract: A vehicle underbody provides a simple structure which enhances the strength and rigidity at a joint between a tunnel portion and a cross member. The tunnel portion of a floor member extends rearward from the front of the vehicle to reach the cross member. The cross member includes a shelf board portion on a side towards the front.
