Abstract: A camera includes a circuit board, an image sensing chip, a package base, a lens module, a flexible circuit board, and a first carrier plate. The circuit board includes a first surface and an opposite second surface. The circuit board defines a window through the first surface and the second surface. The image sensing chip is mounted to the second surface and includes a photosensitive area viewable through the window. The package base is mounted to the first surface and defines a light hole. The lens module is mounted to the package base. The first carrier plate is mounted to the second surface and covers the image sensing chip. The circuit board further includes an end portion not covered by the first carrier plate. The flexible circuit board is mounted to the second surface of the end portion and is electrically coupled to the image sensing chip.

Abstract: A camera module includes a mounting frame defining a first through hole, a filter installed in the first through hole, and a circuit board including a first surface and a second surface. The mounting frame is on the first surface. An air escaping channel is recessed from the second surface, an air escaping hole penetrates the first surface and the second surface and communicates with the air escaping channel. The circuit board, the mounting frame, and the filter cooperate with each other to form a first cavity, the first cavity communicates with the air escaping hole. The air escaping channel includes a first channel portion and a second channel portion, an angle is formed between the first channel portion and the second channel portion. The air escaping hole communicates with the first channel portion, the second channel portion extends to an edge of the circuit board to form an opening.

Abstract: A lens module relieved against the build-up of working heat and any condensation by allowing the release of same comprises a circuit board, a support base, and an optical filter. The support base is fixed on a first surface of the circuit board. The support base defines a through hole configured to receive the optical filter. The support base further defines at least one gas pressure relieving structure. The optical filter and the circuit board seal opposite sides of the support base to form a receiving space. The gas pressure relieving structure allows communication between the receiving space and the exterior such that heat generated in the receiving space is transported out. The lens module is dustproof, waterproof, and can breathe. An electronic device including the lens module is also disclosed.

Abstract: A camera module with reduced light leakage includes a printed circuit board and a mounting bracket mounted on the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a first surface and at least one side surface perpendicularly connected to the first surface. A step is defined at the printed circuit board. The step passes through the first surface and at least one side surface. A flange is defined on the mounting bracket. The flange is received and fixed in the step and this structure places less reliance on the strength and opacity of the particular adhesive used.
