摘要： A solid state control circuit and an alternating current power source for stud welding apparatus are provided. The controls utilize a sustaining arc to maintain electrical continuity, and apply pulsating DC as a source for the main welding arc and filtered DC for use in the initiation and timing circuit. The pulsating direct current is phase controlled to regulate the intensity of the main welding arc.
