摘要: In a capless writing instrument with its writing element arranged in the barrel cylinder so that a writing point of the writing element can come out and retract through a front-end opening of the barrel cylinder, an inner cap having a dome-like convex portion projected frontwards is arranged at the front-end part of the barrel cylinder, and the inner cap is formed of rubber or elastic resin, a slit-forming groove having a thin-film portion at the depressed bottom of the slit is formed from a position at the root of the dome-like inner cap to the opposite position at the root intersecting the substantially center of the convex portion.

摘要: The writing instrument having an excellent cap-off performance is characterized, as shown in, for example, FIG. 3, by that in a writing instrument 10 having a pen tip 13 comprising a fibrous feed or a plastic feed, the pen tip 13 described above is coated with a substance which is solid at room temperature and in which a solubility in an ink solvent is 10% or less at room temperature among substances providing the pen tip with a cap-off property. This writing instrument 10 is such excellent in a cap-off performance that the good writing performance is obtained even after the pen tip is left standing in the air over a long period of time.

摘要: A writing instrument equipped with an exchangeable inner pen filled with an ink containing a solvent having a vapor pressure of 1 to 50 mm Hg (20° C.) in a writing instrument main body which is a barrel part, wherein the inner pen described above has a pen tip comprising a fiber feeder or a plastic feeder, and the above pen tip is coated with a substance having a vaporization-inhibiting action in an amount of 0.01 to 20% by weight in terms of a weight ratio based on the pen tip. It is more effective to further add a substance having a vaporization-inhibiting action to the ink. The substance having a vaporization-inhibiting action includes glycerin derivatives, polyoxyethylenesorbit fatty acid esters, alkyl phosphates, waxes and lecithin.

摘要: Provided is a writing instrument in which a pen tip comprising a fibrous feed or a plastic feed is coated with a coating agent comprising a substance providing a cap-off property, wherein a fluorine base surfactant and/or a silicone base surfactant are added to an ink for the above writing instrument, and/or a substance which is solid at room temperature and has a solubility of 5% or less in an ink solvent at room temperature and which has a polar functional group is added to the coating agent, whereby the writing instrument having an excellent cap-off performance can be obtained.

摘要: The fuel reservoir for a fuel cell is a fuel reservoir detachably connected with a fuel cell main body, and it is equipped with a fuel-storing vessel of a tube type for storing a liquid fuel and a fuel discharge part; the fuel discharge part is provided with a valve for sealing communication between the inside and the outside of the above fuel-storing vessel; and a follower which seals the liquid fuel and moves as the liquid fuel is consumed is disposed in the rear end part of the liquid fuel stored. The valve assumes a structure in which a slit is formed in an elastic material and a structure in which a valve member is pressed by a resilient body.

摘要: An applicator which includes a rear barrel 1; an ink occlusion element 10 accommodated in rear barrel 1; an ink occlusion element receiver 20 opposing the front end part of ink occlusion element 10; a see-through front barrel 30 fitted to the opening of rear barrel 1, a detection tube 40 inserted in front barrel 30 for flowing ink from ink occlusion element 10; a joint core 50 supported by detection tube 40 and flowing out ink from ink occlusion element 10; and a pen core 60 supported by detection tube 40 and disposed on the opposite side of joint core 50 with a detection space 63 from joint core 50. Detection tube 40, joint core 50 and pen core 60 are formed into an integral structure. It is possible to exactly grasp the ink end state in a visual manner, based on the presence/absence of ink in detection space 63 of detection tube 40.

摘要: A fuel cell is equipped with a fuel cell main body, a liquid fuel-storing tank for storing a liquid fuel and a fuel-supplying member which has a penetrating structure and is connected with the liquid fuel-storing tank and which supplies the liquid fuel to the liquid fuel main body, wherein the liquid fuel-storing tank is provided with a liquid fuel reservoir comprising a cylindrical fuel-storing vessel for storing the liquid fuel, a fuel discharge part provided at a lower part of the fuel-storing vessel and having a fuel discharge valve and a follower which is disposed at a rear end of the liquid fuel stored in the fuel-storing vessel and which moves as the liquid fuel is consumed, a housing box member which encompasses at least a part of the liquid fuel reservoir via a space part in the periphery of the liquid fuel reservoir and whose rear end part is closed and pressurized gas which is filled in the space part.

The fuel outlet, oxygen source outlet and water outlet are provided in a front outer surface of the front lid portion.
