摘要： In an image forming apparatus in which when separating a recording material from a recording-material conveying sheet, the recording-material conveying sheet is pressed and deformed by a pressing member, the pressing member has a convex curved portion contacting the recording-material conveying sheet in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the recording-material conveying sheet. It is thereby possible to sufficiently deform the recording-material conveying sheet while preventing it from being permanently deformed or broken.

摘要： The present invention provides an image forming apparatus comprising an image bearing member, and a recording material bearing member for bearing a recording material to convey the recording material to a transfer station where an image is transferred from the image bearing member onto the recording material borne on the recording material bearing member.
