摘要： A magnetic head of a structure in which a pair of magnetic cores, each comprising a magnetic film formed on a support, are butted and bonded to each other with glass and with the interposition of a non-magnetic gap material. The bonding glass is an oxide type glass containing vanadium as main constituent, and 55% or more of vanadium contained in the glass is tetravalent vanadium. This magnetic head is excellent in mass productivity, wear resistance, scratch resistance, weather resistance and magnetic properties.
