摘要： In order to make easy to change the size of a cam device in the course of press mold design, there is provided a cam device including: a cam holder; a cam slider, and a cam driver, wherein the cam devices are grouped depending on the basis of width dimensions in combination of hardness of a sliding contact surface of the cam holder and a sliding contact surface on the cam slider end, and hardness of a cam surface of the cam driver and a cam surface of the cam slider, and the design structures of the respective groups are determined in such a manner that the maximum process ability in a certain group among the groups is larger than the minimum process ability of an adjacent group having a larger width dimension, and smaller than the maximum process ability in an adjacent group having a smaller width dimension.

摘要： In order to provide a cam slider shock absorbing member for a cam device which realizes a sufficient stroke, easy replacement, a compact profile, and an easy-to-machine property without necessity of adhesive agent, the shock absorbing member includes a mounting portion having an external dimension at least larger than an internal dimension of a mounting hole on the side of a lower end thereof and a deflecting portion having a predetermined distance for a deflecting margin with respect to an inner wall surface of the mounting hole on the upper side of the mounting portion, and an upper end of the deflecting portion projects upward from an opening end of the mounting hole and being formed to have a height which secures a length corresponding to the stroke to be compressed.

Thus, even when a sudden power failure has occurred, the needle bar of each machine head set in a resting state can be reliably retained in the jump sewing state, which can avoid deformation or breakage of component parts that might result from undesired descending movement of the needle bar.
