A printer outputs image data onto recording paper. A computer provides control over displays on the PDP as well over the printing operations of the printer according to the input from the touch input device. A frame unit has a board section for holding a display surface and a write-in surface of the electronic blackboard at a specified height. A printer accommodating section accommodates the printer and a computer accommodating section accommodates the computer therein. The computer accommodating section, the printer accommodating section and the board section are arranged in the vertical direction starting from the bottom.

摘要: A coordinate input device includes a writing panel which includes a writing surface having two vertical sides and two horizontal sides. A plurality of transmitting units transmit surface acoustic waves SAW to propagate the SAW within the writing panel in one of a vertical direction and a horizontal direction through reflection. A plurality of receiving units receive the SAW from the plurality of transmitting units through reflection, and output detection signals in response to the received SAW, so that coordinates of a specified point on the writing panel are detected based on the detection signals. A plurality of reflectors, provided on the four sides of the writing surface, reflect the SAW from the transmitting units inwardly to the writing panel and reflect the reflected SAW to the receiving units. In the coordinate input device, the plurality of reflectors, the plurality of transmitting units, and the plurality of receiving units are divided into at least two groups with respect to one of the vertical direction and the horizontal direction, respectively, and symmetrically placed about a predetermined line of the writing panel.

摘要: A coordinate input device that selects actual write points from coordinates that can be combined in different ways to define a greater number of potential write points. In the example of detecting X-coordinates and Y-coordinates that can be combined into X,Y pairs defining potential write points, the device identifies as X,Y pairs for actual write pairs the X,Y combinations that are most likely to correspond to actual write points, based on factors such as the time of detection of an X-coordinate relative to the times of detection of Y-coordinates (or vice versa), or the distances between actual points found in a preceding time period and the potential points of a current time period, or the distances between coordinates of actual points found in a preceding time period and corresponding coordinates of potential write points identified in a current time period.

摘要: In the coodinate-position inputting/detecting device, the light receiving/emitting devices emit light beams spreading in a fan shape and travelling along an entry area. The light receiving/emitting device also receiving the light beam reflected by a recursive reflecting member and detect the distribution of the intensity of the received light beam. The coordinates of a position of a pointing body such as a user's fingertip or a pen inserted in the entry area is identified using the distribution of intensity detected by the light receiving/emitting devices.

摘要: A regenerative switched reluctance motor and a motor drive system therefor are provided. The motor has a rotor 33 with stacked rotor units 33a-33d each comprising 2n salient poles and a stator 31 with stacked stator units 31a-31d surrounded by and corresponding to the rotor units and each comprising 4n magnetic poles to form a predetermined gap with the salient poles of the corresponding rotor unit. A first excitation coil 32(A) is wound on every other one of the 4n magnetic poles of each stator unit, while a second excitation coil 32(B) is wound on the remaining magnetic poles thereof. The rotor units are sequentially shifted by a predetermined angle in angular position relative to the stator units. The switched reluctance motor and the motor drive system can efficiently drive the motor and recover regenerative power with little torque ripple and noise.

摘要: A high-pressure pump section pumps fuel in a fuel tank into a delivery pipe. An injector injects the fuel in the delivery pipe directly into a combustion chamber of an engine. An ECU calculates fuel injection quantity based on an operation state of the engine and calculates fuel injection time based on the fuel injection quantity and pressure of the fuel in the delivery pipe. The ECU calculates fuel injection start timing based on the operation state of the engine. The ECU sets the fuel injection time and the fuel injection start timing as a base injection period. When a fuel inflow period, in which the high-pressure fuel flows into the delivery pipe with the fuel pumping by the high-pressure pump section, overlaps with the base injection period, the ECU changes the base injection period to eliminate or reduce the overlap.

摘要: From among high upland area determination data stored in a hard disk drive, only a portion corresponding to a required segmental region is read into an external memory along with traveling of a vehicle. Determining of a high upland area is then executed based on the portion of the high upland determination in the external storage device. When a high-upland division is present in a vicinity of a present position, a portion of the high upland area determination data is read into the external memory. The read portion of the high upland area determination data corresponds to a high upland area, which covers all the high-upland divisions adjacently existing starting from the high-upland division in the vicinity of the present position. When a high-upland division is not present in the vicinity of the present position, a portion of the high upland area determination data corresponding to a segmental region having a predetermined minimum range centering on the present position is read into the external memory.
