    摘要: An electronic blackboard system with a PDP for displaying characters and images. A touch input device with a touch panel surface is provided on the front surface of the PDP. A printer outputs image data onto recording paper. A computer provides control over displays on the PDP as well over the printing operations of the printer according to the input from the touch input device. A frame unit has a board section for holding a display surface and a write-in surface of the electronic blackboard at a specified height. A printer accommodating section accommodates the printer and a computer accommodating section accommodates the computer therein. The computer accommodating section, the printer accommodating section and the board section are arranged in the vertical direction starting from the bottom.

    摘要: A small-sized pen-shaped input apparatus precisely detects handwriting input. The apparatus compensates for the effects of the inclination of the pen-shaped input apparatus. An initial inclination angle calculating section calculates the initial value of the inclination angle of a pen shaft in a gravity coordinate system. The inclination angle variation calculating section calculates a variation value of the inclination angle of the pen shaft. A handwriting inclination angle calculating section calculates the inclination angle of the pen shaft when writing. A coordinates conversion calculating section converts the coordinate system of the acceleration from the pen shaft coordinate system to the gravity coordinate system. A movement amount calculating section calculates the movement direction and the movement distance of the pen's tip end. Finally, a handwriting detecting section detects a state of handwriting or non-handwriting.

The document processing system includes an encoding unit that encodes a sheet ID for identifying a hand written first document on a sheet to generate a coded sheet ID; a decoding unit that decodes the coded sheet ID; a document-sheet ID association unit that associates the sheet ID with a document ID assigned to a computerized second document; a printing unit that acquires the sheet ID and prints the coded sheet ID on the first document; a sheet ID management unit that manages the sheet ID; an information acquisition unit that acquires the sheet ID decoded by the decoding unit, and hand-written data from the first document on which the coded sheet ID is printed; and a process-sheet ID association unit that associates the sheet ID with a process ID of a process for processing the hand-written data acquired by the information acquisition unit.

    摘要: A pen includes a first speaker that outputs a first signal and a second speaker that outputs a second signal. The first and second speakers are located away from a tip of the pen at respectively different locations. The second signal is delayed with respect to the first signal by a time shorter than a cycle of the first signal. An interpolation time is set between the times of generation of the first and second signals. Interpolated positions of the first and second speakers at the interpolation time are estimated, and position of the tip of the pen is calculated from the interpolated positions of the first and second speakers.
