摘要： A fixing apparatus includes: a cylindrical heat roller having a heating resistor layer on an inside surface thereof; a pressure member in pressure contact with the cylindrical heat roller; and a pair of electrodes provided in the cylindrical heat roller for supplying electricity to the heating resistor layer so that the heating resistor layer generates heat. Both ends of the cylindrical heat roller are formed so as to restrain radiating heat in the cylindrical heat roller from openings at the both ends of the cylindrical heat roller.

摘要： An image forming apparatus, such as a copier or a printer, for forming an image on a recording sheet. The apparatus includes: a fixer for fixing the image on the recording sheet and having a heat roller. The fixer further includes: a pair of side ends in which a rotation axis of the heat roller passes through the pair of side ends; a heat pipe for regulating a temperature of the heat roller; and a conveyance path, having a reference position, for conveying the recording sheet in the fixing in which the recording sheet is conveyed along the reference position. In the fixer, the reference position is in a vicinity of one of side ends, and a center of the heat pipe in a direction of the rotation axis is positioned on the side end side with respect to a center of the heat roller.

摘要： The invention provides an image recording apparatus with cooling fan. Namely, the apparatus comprises copying device for forming toner image and transferring the toner image on a copy sheet; a cooling fan for cooling the copying device; and control device for operating the cooling fan. The control device includes a memory for storing a reference data with respect to recording condition of the copying device, and detector for obtaining data of current recording condition of the copying device, whereby the control device compares the obtained data with the stored reference data. In accordance with this comparison, the control device operates the cooling fan.

摘要： The present invention provides a compact developing apparatus, wherein there is provided a developer container having first magnetic brush carrier for developing the image information at one side thereof and a developing replenishing container at other side thereof, the developing container and the developing replenishing container are so constructed to be one body. The partition wall is located between the both containers and has a opening portion to communicate the both containers. Second magnetic brush carrier is provided at the opening portion to replenish the developer from the developer replenishing container to the developer container. The second magnetic brush carrier can be operated automatically in accordance with the concentration of the developer.
