    摘要: An object lens driving device of the present invention includes a movable section, supporting sections for supporting the movable section and a base for holding the supporting sections. The movable section includes an object lens for recording and/or reproducing optical information to and/or from a disk-shaped recording medium, a lens holder for holding the object lens and at least four permanent magnets adhered to the lens holder. The supporting sections include at least four metal wires substantially parallel to each other, each wire having a first end fixed to the lens holder and a second end connected to the base, and elastic deformable elements connected to the base and having connecting sections thereof connected to the second end of each respective metal wire. The base includes yokes fixed to the base and facing the respective permanent magnets, focusing coils wound around the respective yokes, wound axes of the focusing coils being oriented in a direction of an optical axis of the object lens, and tracking coils wound around the respective yokes, wound axes of the tracking coils being oriented in a direction perpendicular to the wound axes of the focusing coils.

    摘要: In an objective lens driving device having a movable portion including an objective lens held by a lens holder, a damage prevention system for preventing the objective lens or a disk from being damaged when the objective lens or the lens holder collides with the disk is provided. The damage prevention system is constituted by inserting a protecting member formed of an elastic member in a fitting portion on an upper surface of the lens holder while being deformed. In this manner, it is possible to generate a sufficient holding power with respect to the protecting member without using glue or the like.

    摘要: An objective lens driver includes a movable body, a base, a supporting portion, a first multipolar magnet and a second multipolar magnet. The movable body includes an objective lens, a lens holder, and a coil substrate. The coil substrate includes a focusing coil and a tracking coil. The supporting portion allows the movable body to move in a focusing direction and a tracking direction with respect to the base. The focusing direction is parallel to the optical axis of the objective lens, while the tracking direction is perpendicular to the focusing direction. The first and second multipolar magnets sandwich the coil substrate between them. The focusing and tracking coils are arranged as two flat coils on two mutually parallel separate planes so as to overlap with each other at least partially in a direction that is perpendicular to the focusing and tracking directions.

    摘要: In a objective lens driver, at least one permanent magnet is mounted on a movable member, and plural yokes, each being wound with a coil having its winding axis in the focusing direction, are disposed facing the permanent magnet. The yokes are arranged almost symmetrically about a plane including the center of gravity of the movable member and being perpendicular to the tracking direction. In this structure, even when the movable member moves in the tracking direction, since the permanent magnet (a magnetic field source) also moves with the movable member, the distribution of magnetic flux density that contributes to the drive also shifts according to the movement of the movable member, so that the distribution of magnetic flux density maintains being almost symmetrical about the center of gravity of the movable member. Accordingly, in tilt drive, a constant sensitivity to tilt drive is obtained regardless of the position of the movable member. Further, since the rotation axis of tilt drive is fixed, there arises no crosstalk of displacement in the focusing direction and the tracking direction. Furthermore, since the point of action of driving force on the movable member is fixed, there arises no crosstalk of angular displacement in the tilt direction due to focusing drive and tracking drive. Consequently, stable focusing control, tracking control and tilt correction control are realized in an objective lens driver capable of correcting a tilt.
