    摘要: A water and dust-proof electric shaver head support structure that provides a wide range of movement to the floating shaver head to closely follow the contours of the skin. The floating shaver head, which contains the motor and shaving blades, freely pivots in the lateral plane and telescopically floats in relation to the shaver grip. A box-like space is formed in the shaver grip below the lower surface of the shaver head, and front and rear support walls extend upward from the shaver grip to support the shaver head in the forward/rearward direction.

    摘要: A dry shaver has a cradle head carrying shaving units as well as a motor for driving the shaving units. The cradle head is supported to a hand grip such that it is allowed to tilt about at least one tilt axis parallel to a thickness direction of the hand grip. At least one portion of the motor projects upwardly of the tilt axis, whereby the cradle head is given overall mass center which is located upwardly of the tilt axis with respect to the height axis of the hand grip. Accordingly, the motor of heavy nature can be best utilized to locate the overall mass center of the cradle head above the tilt axis for generating a torque acting to tilt the cradle head from a neutral position about the tilt axis when the hand grip is held upright.

    摘要: A dry shaver is capable of being depressed equally at different positions but with differing contact pressures between outer and inner cutters. The shaver has a housing having a motor and inner and outer cutters at its upper end. The inner cutter is driven by the motor to move in shearing engagement with the outer cutter for shaving hairs. The inner cutter is urged upwardly by a bias spring to develop a contact pressure against the outer cutter. The outer cutter is carried by a cutter holder movably supported to a head frame mounted on top of the housing. The shaver has a height adjust mechanism for adjusting the height of the head frame relative to the housing between a high position and a low position while compressing the spring differently to vary the contact pressure, and for allowing the cutter holder to be depressed relative to the head frame from each of the height and low positions.

    摘要: In a battery charger for charging a built-in secondary battery of a compact electric apparatus such as an electric shaver, an erroneous detection due to incomplete mounting of the compact electric apparatus on a mounting base is prevented with a simple and inexpensive configuration. A detection structure for detecting mounting of the compact electric apparatus on the mounting base comprises a charge contact member, a common contact member and a signal contact member which are electrically connected to a positive power source line, a negative power source line and a control signal line of the compact electric apparatus, respectively. A detection contact which electrically connects the signal contact member to the common contact member when the compact electric apparatus is not mounted on the mounting base is integrally formed on the signal contact member. When compact electric apparatus is mounted on the mounting base, the detection contact is displaced corresponding to mounting of the compact electric apparatus so that the signal contact member is electrically disconnected from the common contact member. Thereby, it is possible to detect that the compact electric apparatus is mounted on the mounting base.

    摘要: In a washing apparatus for washing a head portion of a depilation apparatus, it enables to increase design freedom of pipe arrangement from an overflow prevention unit to a washing fluid tank and to downsize the apparatus by effectively utilizing a space below the overflow prevention unit. A tray for holding a head portion of the electric shaver and an overflow preventing unit to maintain fluid level of the washing fluid in the tray at a predetermined level are integrally formed to adjoin each other via a partition wall in an anteroposterior direction of the washing apparatus. A bottom face of the overflow prevention unit is inclined downward in a widthwise direction of the washing apparatus, and an outlet is provided on a side wall in the widthwise direction in a deepest portion of the overflow prevention unit. A second exhausting path for exhausting the washing fluid from the outlet of the overflow preventing unit is arranged along a side wall of the tray.
