摘要： The present invention provides a polishing platen which does not require a large force for removing a polishing pad from an upper surface of the polishing platen and can thus make it relatively easy to remove the polishing pad therefrom. The present invention also provides a polishing apparatus having such polishing platen. The polishing platen (12) according to the present invention includes a surface to which a polishing pad is attached. 摘要： In an interactive program search apparatus (100) which presents search condition candidates for expanding or narrowing down search results, reason words indicating the reason why the search condition candidates are presented are adaptively determined based on user's preference, search actions, and watching actions. An association-source word extracting unit (109) extracts an association-source word from the program search results, and an associated word extracting unit (110) extracts associated words associated with the association-source word, from an association dictionary storage unit (103). A reason word extracting unit (111) extracts reason words illustrating the relationships between the association-source word and the associated words, using the association-source word, the associated words, and the obtainment history information composed of words included in the program information of the programs selected by the user in the past and selected words among the words.

A standard behavior pattern storage unit stores a movement pattern data sequence represented by a hand movement data sequence, in association with a user behavior; and a behavior recognition unit calculates a degree of similarity between the movement pattern data sequence stored in the standard behavior pattern storage unit and the hand movement data selected by the feature selection unit, and recognizes, as the user behavior, a behavior represented by the movement pattern data sequence when the degree of similarity is the highest.

摘要： An association dictionary creation apparatus is provided that is capable of easily and efficiently creating an association dictionary suiting the user's taste. The association dictionary creation unit includes: a profile storage unit that stores a profile which is information regarding the user's taste; a word selection unit that determines, every predetermined time, a word from the profile stored in the profile storage unit as an associated word search word, and further, selects words, other than the associated word search word, included in the profile as the associated word candidates; and an association degree calculation unit that calculates the degree of association between the associated word search word and each associated word candidate word selected by the word selection unit with reference to the contents stored in the contents storage unit, and when the association degree is higher than a predetermined threshold value, sets the associated word search word and the associated word candidate word as the associated word pair and stores the associated word pair and the association degree in the association dictionary storage unit in association with each other.
