    摘要： An information processing apparatus includes a content storage unit storing a plurality of pieces of content; a background-image storage unit storing a background image corresponding to the plurality of pieces of content stored in the content storage unit; an attribute-information storage unit storing attribute information for each of the plurality of pieces of content in association with the plurality of pieces of content, the attribute information including a corresponding position in the background image; a classification unit classifying the plurality of pieces of content into one or more clusters on the basis of the attribute information; and a rendering unit rendering images indicating the classified pieces of content in a predetermined order on a cluster-by-cluster basis and rendering an area of the background image, the area including the corresponding position included in the attribute information of content corresponding to at least one of the images rendered.

    摘要： There is provided a graphical user interface that displays information on a plurality of different types of content on a single screen. The graphical user interface includes an overview display area and a detail display area. The overview display area displays an overview of the information on the content in chronological order, based on time information for the plurality of the different types of content. The detail display area displays, in greater detail, the information on the content that corresponds to the time information that is selected in the overview display area. Scrolling the information that is displayed in the overview display area causes the information on the content that is displayed in the detail display area to be scrolled.

The display device includes a content acquiring unit configured to acquire the contents, a content arranging unit configured to arrange the contents based on time information possessed by the contents, a time difference calculating unit configured to calculate a time difference between adjacent contents in terms of time based on the time information possessed by the contents, a display position setting unit configured to set a position of each content along a time axis based on the time difference between the contents, the display position setting unit determining whether the time difference between the contents is larger than a predetermined value, and a content display unit configured to display the plurality of contents based on position information on the time axis along the depth direction of the predetermined display area.
