Abstract:
A device and a method facilitating generation of one or more intuitive gesture sets for the interpretation of a specific purpose are disclosed. Data is captured in a scalar and a vector form which is further fused and stored. The intuitive gesture sets generated after the fusion are further used by one or more components/devices/modules for one or more specific purpose. Also incorporated is a system for playing a game. The system receives one or more actions in a scalar and a vector from one or more user in order to map the action with at least one pre stored gesture to identify a user in control amongst a plurality of users and interpret the action of user for playing the game. In accordance with the interpretation, an act is generated by the one or more component of the system for playing the game.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and Geographic Information System (GIS) for creating a user's proximity model in accordance with a user's feedback. The GIS creates the user's proximity model using a Dempster-Shafer technique. The GIS initializes the user's proximity model upon initializing a fuzzy set with a fuzzy membership function. The fuzzy set includes a plurality of points scattered around a reference point. The GIS creates an intermediate model using the user's proximity model by selecting a group of points from the plurality of points. The GIS receives a user feedback on the intermediate model. The GIS adapts the fuzzy membership function based on the user feedback. The GIS then updates the user's proximity model based on the fuzzy membership function which is adapted on basis of the user feedback.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and system for identifying a sensor to be deployed in a physical environment. The method may comprise storing sensor data and metadata of the plurality of sensors in a data store. Further, the method may comprise deriving sensor information comprising at least one of thematic information, temporal information, and spatial information. The method may further comprise creating sensor ontology to define a relationship between the sensor data, the metadata, and the sensor information. The sensor ontology may be stored in a knowledge repository of the data store. The method may further comprise receiving and decomposing the search query into at least one of a basic query component and an inferred query component. Finally, the method may comprise executing the basic query component or the inferred query component on the data store and the knowledge repository respectively in order to identify the sensor.
