摘要: In a method of controlling a refrigeration cycle constructed by connecting a compressor, an outdoor-side heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an indoor-side heat exchanger, the temperature of a coolant ejected from the compressor is detected by a sensor, and the opening rate of the valve is adjusted in accordance with the detected temperature. When the detected temperature exceeds a prescribed upper limit, that opening rate of the valve which is indicated on that occasion is stored in a memory, and then the opening rate of the valve is increased to reduce the temperature of the ejected coolant to a lower level than a prescribed lower limit. After the temperature decreases from the lower limit, the opening rate of the valve is adjusted to a larger level than that level which is previously stored in a memory by a prescribed extent, thereby keeping the temperature of the ejected coolant between the upper and lower limits.

摘要: A print document conversion apparatus includes a plurality of software-based conversion units and a controller. The plurality of software-based conversion units perform a software-based conversion process for converting print document data described in a page description language into page image data having a bitmap image format. Each of the plurality of software-based conversion units requests a hardware-based image processing apparatus that executes specific image processing in the software-based conversion process to execute the specific image processing, and generates the page image data including a result of the image processing executed by the hardware-based image processing apparatus in response to the request. The controller activates an additional software-based conversion unit that performs the software-based conversion process when a state where at least one of the plurality of software-based conversion units waits for the hardware-based image processing apparatus to complete the image processing possibly occurs.

摘要: An induction motor drive includes a plurality of inverters, a changeover switch which changes over outputs of the plurality of inverters to be supplied to one induction motor and a changeover controller which controls the changeover switch on the basis of a failure detection signal of one inverter to change over from the one inverter to another inverter to start the other inverter so that the induction motor is driven. The changeover controller includes a frequency/phase detector which always detects a frequency and a phase of a terminal voltage of the induction motor and a starting frequency/phase setting device which controls a frequency and a phase at starting of the other inverter in accordance with detected values of the frequency/phase detector when the failure signal is inputted.

摘要: The invention provides a method for efficiently performing the alignment work of a laser diode chip with an optical fiber. A laser diode chip is faced to a coupling end face of a lensed fiber. According to algorisms stored inside an algorism storage part, X, Y and Z stages move the lensed fiber for alignment. The lensed fiber takes in laser light as it is moved in the optical axis direction (Z-axis direction) of the laser light from the laser diode chip. The lensed fiber is moved in the Z-axis direction by every movement, a half of a wavelength of the laser light, on the basis of the reference position thereof. Every time at the step moving, a light power of the laser light incident into the lensed fiber is measured. A position where the measured value becomes the maximum or a neighboring position thereof is defined as the optimum position of the optical fiber in the Z-axis direction. After rough alignment by whirl alignment, the optimum position of the optical fiber on the XY plane is determined by microalignment according to a five-point alignment method.
