摘要： A memory controller including: a rectangular area designation register which is used for designating a rectangular area inside a display area; an address generation circuit which generates an address of the memory corresponding to a position of each pixel inside the rectangular area; a color designation register in which designated pixel data is designated; and a bit block transfer control register. When the bit block transfer is enabled, the memory controller writes the designated pixel data in the memory based on the address generated by the address generation circuit corresponding to a bit block transfer rectangular area. When the bit block transfer is disabled, the memory controller writes input pixel data in the memory based on the address generated by the address generation circuit corresponding to an input pixel data transfer rectangular area.

摘要： A permanent magnet rotor has a plurality of holding projections radially outward projected from a yoke secured to outer periphery of a rotor shaft, the projections being extended in axial direction of the shaft and yoke while expanded at tip end portions in circumferential directions, and a plurality of permanent magnet segments respectively disposed between adjacent ones of the holding projections to have gaps remained at least partly in the periphery of the segments, the gaps being filled with a thermosetting resin so that constant positioning of the segments with respect to the yoke can be attained with the resin filled.

摘要： A display controller may include a display update controller that may cause a color processing operation to be initiated in response to completion of an image data transmission, or a display update operation to be initiated in response to completion of the color processing operation. The display update operation may include updating display pixels of a display matrix of an electro-optic display device. A collision detector may determine whether a waveform for updating a display state of a particular display pixel has finished. The display update controller may cause the particular display pixel to be omitted from a display update operation if the waveform for updating the display state of the particular display pixel has not finished. A second display update operation may automatically be initiated when the waveform for updating the display state of the particular display pixel has finished.

摘要： A brushless D.C. motor wherein one of projected stator poles positioned to be mutually equally spaced in mechanical angle is made sufficiently smaller than the other as partly cut off at circumferentially expanding pole tooth part, the stator poles being respectively polarized depending on controllably varied direction of direct current to coils on the poles by means of a rotor position detecting Hall element which detects the polarity at a predetermined position of the rotor, for allowing the rotor to self-start constantly in one direction with a remarkably increased starting torque.
