    摘要： A cured or uncured composition of a homopolymer or copolymer of an epihalohydrin comprising a homopolymer or copolymer of an epihalohydrin, a curing amount of a curing agent therefor and an acid acceptor, characterized in that the curing agent and acid acceptor are free from a cyclic carboxylic acid anhydride and consist, based on 100 parts by weight of the epihalohydrin homopolymer or copolymer, of(a) a component selected from the group consisting of 1 to 200 parts by weight of an acid salt of 1 mole of a polybasic carboxylic acid with 1 mole of 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7 and a mixture of 1 to 200 parts by weight of a polybasic carboxylic acid and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a neutral salt of 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7, and(b) 1 to 20 parts by weight of a specific metal compound of Group II and Group IVa of the periodic table of elements.

    摘要： A cured or uncured composition of homo- or copolymer of epihalohydrins comprising a homo- or copolymer of an epihalohydrin, curable amounts of a curing agent therefor and an acid acceptor, characterized in that said curing agent and acid acceptor consist, on the basis of 100 parts by weight of said homo- or copolymer of epihalohydrin, of (a) 0.1 - 10 parts by weight of a cyclic carboxylic acid anhydride, (b) 0.1 - 10 parts by weight of a compound selected from the group consisting of 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7 and salts thereof, and (c) 0.5 - 20 parts by weight of a metal compound selected from the group consisting of the oxides of the metals of group II of the periodic table of elements, hydroxides of said group II metals, carbonates of said group II metals, carboxylic acid salts of said group II metals, oxides of the metals of group IVa of the periodic table of elements, basic carbonates of said group IVa metals, basic carboxylic acid salts of said group IVa metals and basic phosphites of said group IVa metals.

When forming the bracket by engaging projections and recesses with each other, which projections and recesses are formed at left and right sides A, B of a metallic plate, portions P through S which span adjacent projections are crushed stripewise in the wall thickness direction to form indentations, thereby supplying metal which is forced out of the indentations P through S to around each of the projections to enhance the adhesion between adjacent projections and realize a strong joining of both left and right sides of the metallic plate.

    摘要： A process for producing an optically active alcohol represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group having from 2 to 11 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having from 3 to 11 carbon atoms, an alkadienyl group having from 6 to 11 carbon atoms, a cyclohexyl group, an cyclohexylmethyl group, or a cyclohexylethyl group, provided that the olefin in the alkenyl group or alkadienyl group is not conjugated to the olefin at the 2-position thereof; and * means an asymmetric carbon atom,is disclosed, comprising subjecting an olefinic alcohol represented by formula (II): ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is the same as defined above to asymmetric hydrogenation in the presence of, as a catalyst, a ruthenium-optically active phosphine complex.According to the process of the invention, the desired optically active alcohols which are useful not only as intermediates for the manufacture of perfumes and vitamin E but also as liquid crystal materials can be produced with high optical purities.
