摘要: A hair removal device is provided including a base, a multi-angle deflector coupled to the base, an applicator head coupled to the multi-angle deflector, and a hair removal surface coupled to the applicator head, wherein the hair removal surface has a plurality of enclosed, non-linear cutting edges, and wherein the multi-angle deflector provides a multidirectional deflection connection of the applicator head and the hair removal surface relative to the base. The multidirectional deflection connection of the applicator head relative to the base comprises a multidirectional pivoting movement in at least three dimensions. The multi-angle deflector comprises a spring, a deformable substrate, and a deflection stiffness between 0.05 N/mm and 5 N/mm. The multi-angle deflector can be a wave spring. The multi-angle deflector has a thickness greater than a thickness of the base or a thickness of the applicator head.

摘要: A shaving razor system with a handle having an elongated gripping portion with a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. A heat delivering element is mounted to the proximal end portion of the handle. The heat delivering element has a skin contacting surface. The heat delivering element is able to increase the temperature of the skin contacting surface from an initial temperature in air of 25° C. to an elevated temperature in air of 43° C. in less than 5 seconds. A power source is positioned within the handle and is in electrical communication with the heat delivering element. The power source has a power from 4 Watts to 8 Watts. A removable shaving razor cartridge mounted to the proximal end of the handle.

摘要: The present invention relates to a skin treatment sheet including a substrate with a plurality of apertures wherein the apertures have a first and second inner perimeter and a cutting edge along at least a portion of the first inner perimeter. The skin treatment sheet has a total cutting length which is the total length of all portions of the first perimeter in each aperture that contain a cutting edge and a total aperture area wherein the ratio of total aperture area to total cutting length is in a predefined range from 0.08 to 2.0 mm. Moreover, the present invention also relates to a skin treatment device including this skin treatment sheet.

The method includes the steps of: providing a blade having an edge; providing a fiber mount for holding the single fiber; providing at least one sensor connected to the fiber mount; providing a fiber sleeve to contain a fiber within the fiber mount to simulate the location of the hair within the hair follicle; moving the blade toward the fiber and cutting the fiber; and measuring the cutting force on the fiber with the at least one sensor.
