    摘要: This invention relates to aminofunctional silicone resins having high aryl content R2SiO2/2 content and amine content. The aminofunctional silicone resins of this invention are useful in making tough, water, solvent, and heat resistant hybrid materials when used in combination with selected organic materials, particularly epoxy-containing organic materials. The aminofunctional resins of this invention have the ability to flexibilize epoxy compounds while maintaining low CTE and solvent resistance. This invention also relates to emulsion compositions containing the above described aminofunctional silicone resins.

    摘要: This invention relates to a coating composition comprising (A) 100 weight parts of a a compound containing at least one acrylate group or a compound containing at least one isocyanate group; (B) at least one aminofanctional silicone resin; (C) up to 300 weight parts of at least one organic hardener; and (D) up to 5 weight parts of at least one cure rate modifier. The coating compositions of this invention are useful as a stand alone coating or as ingredients in flame retardant coating compositions, fabric or fiber coating compositions, UV resistant coating compositions, paint formulations, powder coatings, architectural coatings and adhesives. The coating compositions of this invention have enhanced thermal stability, particularly when used in coatings, paints, powder coatings, architectural coatings, and adhesives.

    摘要: An anhydride functional silsesquioxane resin composition containing the units: (R13SiO1/2)a  (i) (R22SiO2/2)b  (ii) (R3SiO3/2)c and  (iii) (SiO4/2)d.  (iv) R1, R2, and R3 can be an anhydride group, a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, or an alkaryl group. a is 0.1-0.6, b is zero to 0.5, c is 0.3-0.8, d is zero to 0.3, and the sum of a, b, c, and d, is one. The composition contains more than two anhydride groups. The anhydride functional silsesquioxane resin can be used to form curable one-part composition containing the anhydride functional silsesquioxane resin composition, an epoxy resin; and optionally, an anhydride containing organic curing agent, a cure accelerator, and a filler.
