Abstract:
A semiconductor lighting device includes a translucent cover and a mounting for the cover, wherein the mounting has an annular groove, the cover is inserted into the annular groove and the cover is held in the annular groove, at least on a first side, by means of an adhesive.
Abstract:
The elongate inner bulb (1) defines a longitudinal axis (A) and is sealed at mutually opposing ends by sealing parts (6; 32), an outer bulb being placed, with an adjoining tube piece, over the inner bulb and being fixed to the sealing part by means of an annular beading formed there, the end of the tube piece being radially attached to the beading, the maximum inner diameter of the beading being larger than the outer diameter of the sealing part in the region of the beading.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a current bushing system for a lamp, having molybdenum foils, which are embedded in a gas-tight manner in at least one end section of the lamp and on which, in each case at two opposite narrow sides, an outer power supply line and an electrode or an outer power supply line and an inner power supply line are arranged. According to the invention, the power supply lines and/or electrodes have, at least in sections, a coating which is designed such that the fusion behavior of the power supply lines and/or electrodes is impaired in the coating region.
Abstract:
An electrode for a discharge lamp includes an elongate shank (11a) and a top (11b) that is arranged on one end of the shank (11a). The shaft (11a) is flattened to such an extent that its dimensions at an angle to is longitudinal extension are not larger than the corresponding transversal dimensions of the top (11b).
Abstract:
A lamp elongated bulb (1) which defines a longitudinal axis (A), is closed on the opposite ends thereof by sealing parts (6; 32), to which an outer bulb is fixed via bulges. A neck adjacent to the outer bulb is produced by a specific method.
Abstract:
A high-pressure discharge lamp for vehicle headlights has a power consumption of less than 100 watt. The high-pressure discharge lamp includes a quartz glass discharge recipient (10) having two opposing ends (101, 102) which are sealed by molybdenum films (103, 104). Two electrodes (11, 12) which are respectively connected to one of the molybdenum films (103, 104), and an ionisable filler containing xenon and a halogenide of sodium and scandium, are arranged in the inner region (106) of the discharge recipient (10), for producing a gas discharge. The minimum distance (A) between the respective molybdenum film (103, 104) and the end of the electrode (11, 12) which is connected thereto and protrudes into the inner region (106) of the discharge recipient (10) is more than 5 mm.
Abstract:
The elongate bulb (1) of the lamp, which defines a longitudinal axis (A), is sealed at mutually opposing ends by sealing parts (6; 32), on which an outer bulb is fixed by means of a beading. The end of a tube piece adjoining the outer bulb is attached to the beading tangentially on the inside.
