    摘要: A refill arrangement for an ink reservoir of an automatic writing system has an ink reservoir, an adaptor, and a refill container provided as individual parts and to be combined for filling the ink reservoir such that the adaptor connects the refill container to the ink reservoir and such that the refill container, the adaptor, and the ink reservoir are hermetically sealed relative to the ambient atmosphere when connected. The refill container is positioned vertically above the ink reservoir in a filling position of the refill arrangement. The refill arrangement operates pressureless or by gravity feed. The adaptor has a housing, a first connector arranged in the housing for receiving a connecting piece of the ink reservoir and a second connector arranged in the housing for receiving a connecting piece of the refill container. The housing has a filling channel connecting the first and second connectors. The adaptor has a valve stop and seals that seal the connecting pieces in the respective first and second connectors during filling.

    摘要: A device for filling an ink cartridge, particularly a refilling device for filling ink cartridges of ink-jet systems, such as printers and plotters, or other automatic registering, writing or drawing apparatus, includes a refilling container and an ink cartridge connected through an adaptor and arranged essentially one above the other in the filling position. The adaptor has at least two connections for the refilling container and the cartridge to be connected. A separate ink reservoir is arranged in the ink cartridge, wherein the ink reservoir of the ink cartridge and/or the filling container of the refilling container includes an easily deformable bag, and wherein the reservoir bag and/or container bag are of a flexible, elastic material. A hermetically sealed cartridge space is formed between the cartridge housing and the separate ink reservoir. The adaptor is constructed and dimensioned in such a way, that, together with the ink cartridge and the refilling container, the adaptor forms in the filling position a hermetically closed filling system and an additional air system between the hermetically sealed cartridge space and the atmosphere.

    摘要: Protective cap for capillary writing instruments comprised of a relatively flexible outer casing and a relatively rigid inner casing. One end of the outer casing is adapted to form a substantially fluid tight seal on the body of a writing instrument. A flexible sealing means, e.g., spherical, is positioned between the inner sheath and the outer sheath so as to form a substantially fluid tight seal on the tip of a writing instrument inserted into the inner casing and placed in contact with the sealing means. In another embodiment the sealing means located between the outer casing and inner casing is eliminated and the outer casing forms a substantially fluid tight seal by directly contacting the writing instrument tip.
