摘要： The auxiliary breathing flow channel apparatus for an oxygen mask for pilots and crew of an airplane includes a flow control device with closed and open positions to regulate flow through an auxiliary channel. A pressure sensor such as an aneroid capsule automatically closes the auxiliary channel upon a decrease in cabin pressure. A handle also allows a user to manually move the flow regulating means to a closed position.

摘要： A tool for cutting flexible plastic conduit having a pair of pivotally attached handles. One of the handles includes a cutting blade. The cutting blade cooperatively associates with an anvil located on the other handle. The cutting blade and anvil form a cutting jaw. The anvil includes at least one support to resist deformation of the flexible conduit during the cutting operation. The support is shaped to conform to a portion of the exterior profile of the flexible pipe being cut. A slot bisects the anvil such that the cutting blade can completely pass through the conduit and the supports.

摘要： A pressure regulating apparatus is disclosed for use in an irrigation network. A pressure regulator may be combined with a filter unit in a single pipe to reduce components and joints in the irrigation network. A pipe may be provided having openings in its sides for receiving and securing a portion of the pressure regulator. The openings may be reference ports for a pressure sink, and the ports may include a porous filter material for preventing ingress of particulate matter while permitting gas to pass therethrough. The pressure regulator has a reciprocating valve member which may be sealed within a housing of the pressure regulator or with an inner surface of the pipe. The incoming water is first filtered and then it goes to the pressure regulator. The pressure regulator may be assembled as sequentially installed components.

摘要： A removable flush cap is provided for use with an irrigation tube coupling or fitting, to facilitate post-installation flushing of dirt and grit from an irrigation system. The flush cap is particularly designed for use with a tube coupling of the type shown in co-pending U.S. application Ser. No. 10/394,343, having a plurality of retainer collets each with multiple lock fingers oriented for push-in locked reception of a tube end in engagement with a compliant seal. The flush cap includes a generally cylindrical barrel for sealed slide-fit engagement with the compliant seal within one of the retainer collets, and a recessed groove for snap-fit locked reception of the collet lock fingers. The flush cap further includes a plurality of cams for engaging and releasing the collet lock fingers from the cap groove, upon cap rotation, to permit slide-out cap removal from the retainer collet.

A support collar is disposed in the lower portion and is configured to engage a metal stake or bar. An impact layer can further be present in the upper portion.

摘要： A method and apparatus for coupling ends of tubes, particularly tubes of different outer diametral sizes. The coupling includes resiliently deformable portions for retaining and sealing the tube within the coupling in a generally leak-proof manner, and an insert is provided for reception within the end of each tube. The insert imparts a greater level of stiffness to the tube for improving the sealing of the tube within the coupling. The insert provides a tight friction-fit between the insert and tube and retards or restricts withdrawal of the insert and tube from the coupling.
