摘要: A multimedia software application that can include audio, video and/or graphics, in a manner that combines the multimedia experience with the transfer of information from and between a variety of sources (126), in a variety of directions, and subject to a variety of prompts. The application provides a “Web in Page” approach, in which a series of windows have the same or similar “look and feel”, yet can be used to access and display information from a variety of sources (126), including local content (112) (hard drive or other locally stored media), and web-based online content (118), including that available from a dedicated, integrated server (114), affiliated servers (114), or even other computer users. The application of the present invention can be provided in stand-alone form, to be loaded on a client device (116) (e.g., personal computer) from either a recorded medium or downloaded online. In addition to this “Web in Page” application interface, a “Web in Skin” interface may be provided, by which the application interface may be varied based on client user (110) or advertiser (126) preferences to provide a customized interface format Optionally, and preferably, the application is provided in a form where it is recorded on, and thereby combined with, digitally recorded content, such as a music CD or DVD.

摘要: A first substantially transparent window, a tinted window, and a tinted window moving device may be provided in an automobile. The tinted window moving device can be controlled to place the tinted window in a first state or a second state. In the first state the tinted window is substantially aligned with the first substantially transparent window so that in order to see out of the first substantially transparent window, an individual must look through the tinted window also. In the second state the tinted window is not substantially aligned with the first substantially transparent window, so that an individual can see out of the first substantially transparent window without looking through the tinted window also.

摘要: A convertible training aid for multi-stage development of a skater is disclosed. The training aid includes a frame with front, back, and opposing sides. The frame has an upper frame that surrounds the skater, a lower frame, and a plurality of support posts. Each of the opposing sides of the frame comprises a front side portion and a back side portion. The front side portion is detachably coupled to the back side portion. A seat is detachably suspended from the frame and disposed at a position below the upper frame. The seat has an adjustable height. The first stage training aid described above can be converted into a second stage training aid by removing the seat from the frame and removing the back of the frame and the back side portions of the opposing sides of the frame from the front of the frame and the front side portions of the opposing sides of the frame.

摘要: A process for forming a metallic tubular connector of the type having a cylindrical shell which extends circumferentially about a tubular body for joining said tubular connector to a conduit. The process involves using a first forming machine to form a first peripheral bead in a first end portion of a tubular metallic body, having a substantially uniform diameter and wall thickness, reduce the outside diameter of a second end portion, and slope an intermediate surface portion. Then, a second end forming machine tool, carrying a metallic socket, freely receives the tubular body second end portion, contacts the sloped intermediate surface portion, forms a second peripheral bead adjacent the first peripheral bead, while an annular end surface of the socket is compressed and locked between the first and second beads. Further, the tubular body is manufactured from a 5000 series aluminum alloy material.
