    摘要： A vented diving snorkel from which water is drained as the open upper end of the snorkel tube is raised out of the water includes a combined drain and sump section which is located below the mouthpiece and which is separated from the snorkel tube by a baffle which directs fluid away from the drain section and up the main snorkel tube when the diver exhales abruptly through the mouthpiece. Being located below the mouthpiece, the drain section provides a sump into which the small amount of water not expelled from the snorkel and the water which splashes into the open upper end of the snorkel drains.
