摘要： A method, medium and implementing computer system are provided in which the aggregate preferences of a gathered group of individuals in a certain proximity and with respect to a predetermined perceivable and controllable function are ascertained. Individual preferences are processed to obtain a group preference and if the group preference meets predetermined criteria, the group preference is implemented with respect to the controllable function. In a specific example, movie preview playlists are modified by a control server according to the ascertained preferences of the particular group to whom the movie previews are being presented. In another example, the ambient temperature of a room in which a group of individuals is gathered is adjusted by a temperature-control server in response to the polled and ascertained preferences of each of the individuals.

摘要： A system, method, and program product is provided that operates when opening a word processing document that includes document content inserted at various insertion points within the document. The document is opened by a user that corresponds to a particular user identifier. The comments included in the document include recipient identifiers. A first set of comments are selected where the user's identifier is included in the recipient identifiers of the corresponding comments, and a second set of comments are selected where the user's identifier is not included in the recipient identifiers of the corresponding comments. The word processor displays the first set of comments at their respective insertion points within the document content and does not present the second set of comments.

A listening logic comprising multiple conference engines monitors speakers, topics, and words spoken during a conference. A speech-to-text engine monitors the conference and records a transcription. A word emphasis engine monitors the transcription for key words. A voice identification engine monitors the live conversation and the recorded transcript, in real time, for a particular individual to begin speaking. An outline engine may create an outline of transcription. The listening device may issue an alert upon detecting a content of interest in the conference. The listening device may additionally display an outline or a selected portion of the transcript regarding a particular content of interest to inform a user of the listening device of a portion of content of the conference that may have been missed.

摘要： A software debugger is enabled and runs in the background for debugging a computer software program. The target criteria for one or more Key Performance Indicators of interest relating to the program performance are established before the program begins its execution. During execution, the debugger is activated and takes control of the program execution if a Key Performance Indicator meets its established criteria. The execution of the program is paused, and the program enters a debug mode during which an execution state of the program in system memory could be examined and modified. The debugger also provides functions for controlled execution like single-stepping, forwarding and rewinding. A user interface coupled to the debugger allows a user to interact with the debugger and control program execution.
