The device includes a rotary or fixed drum and an optical sensor member arranged to sense the movement of the yarn towards the textile machine. The optical sensor includes a plurality of emitters and receivers between which a light beam is generated and is interrupted by the yarn during its movement. The optical sensor includes a first fixed part and a second fixed part which includes the emitter and receiver elements, the first part being coaxial with the rotary member, the second being annular and surrounding the first part, the yarn moving between the parts.

The blades form an assembly which rotates together with the wheel/drum but about an axis having an inclination and/or an eccentricity relative to the axis of the wheel/drum, such that the profile projection of the blades from the relative slits varies gradually along the perimeter of the wheel/drum, from a minimum to a maximum, to then return to a minimum, but remains constant with time. The blades have a length to be able to receive all the yarn turns which concern the device.

摘要： A device for feeding a yarn to a textile machine includes a housing with which a rotary member is associated to cooperate with the yarn unwinding from a package and directed, on leaving the device, to the machine where it is processed. Correct feed of the yarn is monitored by a feed controller associated with the housing in accordance with at least one measured parameter related to the rotary member or to an intrinsic characteristic of the yarn such as its tension or its feed velocity. A yarn cutting member is provided. This is connected to and controlled by the controller on the basis of the measured parameter of the yarn. The cutting member is activated by the controller to cut the yarn whenever the parameter monitored by the controller has a value exceeding a predetermined required value.
