    摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided implementing a scan chain diagnostics technique. The diagnostics technique includes employing fuses coupled to latches of the scan chain to load a known logic value into the latches at known locations of the scan chain, and then unloading values from the scan chain, and if the scan chain is defective (for example, based on the unloaded logic values), then localizing a defect in the scan chain from the unloaded logic values by comparison thereof with the known locations of the latches of the scan chain loaded with the known logic value via the fuses. The scan chain may be predesigned with fuses spaced periodically across the chain every n latches to facilitate subsequent localization of a detected defect in the scan chain.

Optionally, the spot cleaning apparatus can be operated in a manual mode. In one embodiment, the spot cleaning apparatus comprises a controller for continuously reversing the agitation direction of the agitation system. In another embodiment, the spot cleaning apparatus comprises a modular strain relief assembly. In yet another embodiment, working air is recirculated to the surface to be cleaned through internal ducting.

    摘要: A hand-held nozzle is attached to the end of a vacuum and fluid delivery hose of an upright deep cleaner. The nozzle includes a reservoir to contain a solution to be applied to a surface. When a solution delivery system of the deep cleaner is pressurized, water from the upright cleaner clean water tank is routed through the hose to the hand-held nozzle. The water is routed through a venturi valve connected to the reservoir, which draws the solution to the valve to mix with the water stream. The resultant mixture flows from the hand-held nozzle for application to a surface being treated. One embodiment of the solution reservoir includes a retainer cap bonded to the reservoir and utilizing a bayonet-type mounting arrangement for mounting the reservoir to a nozzle assembly.

    摘要: An adjustable resistance joint brace with a pair of pivotally interconnected semi-flexible struts compressing a rubber disc washer to impart resistance during knee, elbow, ankle and hip flexion and extension. A manually adjustable knob controls the amount of resistance by squeezing together the upper strut, a rubber disc washer in between, and the lower strut. The brace includes a sleeve for housing the struts and the brace opposes movements when the struts articulate about a transverse axis corresponding to the anatomical pivot axis of the body joint of the knee, elbow, ankle, and hip. At the pivot axis, a turn of the knob clockwise tightens the brace and a counterclockwise turn of the knob would lessen the resistance. The brace has application for dynamic sports movements, daily routine movements, rehabilitation and weightlessness strength training.
