摘要： Embodiments of mechanisms for resealing a can are disclosed. The mechanisms are adaptable to cans currently on the market. The mechanisms can be marketed as a stand alone (i.e., a post-purchase product), or alternatively, they can be applied by a manufacture (e.g., a cola bottling or canning company) to existing cans (e.g., during a filling stage of the manufacturing process or at another point in the process). In the embodiment, a can resealing mechanism includes an inner and outer flange configured to engage inner and outer surfaces of the can and the rivet and bent down flap portion of the can.

摘要： A dual tire chain block for adding and removing chains to dual tire trucks includes a block base having a front side sloping from a bottom side to a top side to form a front ramp. A pair of chain mounts is coupled to the inner side and the outer side proximal the front side. A capture chain is coupled to the pair of chain mounts. The capture chain extends between the pair of chain mounts to form a U-shape adjacent the front side of the block base. The capture chain is configured to be driven on by a truck to prevent the block base from slipping away as the truck tires climb the front ramp to rest an inner tire on the top side to elevate an outer tire to receive or remove a snow chain.

摘要： A hermetically-sealed paperboard container is disclosed that may be produced using a conventional converting machine but at a converting temperature of at least 93° C. lower than a conventional converting temperature. The formation of pin holes or rupture on the barrier structure during the converting process can be significantly reduced, resulting in the hermetically-sealed paperboard container with enhanced barrier performances.
