Abstract:
In order to simultaneously cut several parallel grooves into material cuttings at a short distance from one another, the groove cutting machine features a horizontally arranged transport drum and at least one groove cutting tool with several knife sets for respectively cutting a groove, wherein the relative position between the knife sets of a groove cutting tool is variable in the axial direction of the transport drum.
Abstract:
The die-cutting scrap removal device of the present invention relates to a die-cutting scrap removal device (1) for separating a product (P) from an original plate (NP), the device comprising a scrap removal means (100) including: a table-shaped removal main body part (110) standing upright on the ground surface; a fixed pressing-separation part (120) fixed on the top surface of the removal main body part (110) so as to move vertically; and a movable pressing-separation part (130) moving in the back and forth directions and the vertical direction on the top surface of the removal main body part (110), and thus the device includes the scrap removal means comprising the fixed pressing-separation part for moving vertically and the movable pressing-separation part for moving vertically and moving in the back and forth directions behind the fixed pressing-separation part, thereby readily separating scraps in mass quantities of products.
Abstract:
A package made of a single piece of cardboard, with at least one aperture, which encases, displays and prevents damage to a tool. The cardboard has a front portion, a back portion, a top portion, a bottom portion and two side portions. The top portion is formed by parallel creases between the front and back portions which, when folded, create a rectangular top portion. Insertion of a tab into a slit forms the bottom portion which serves as a horizontal ledge so the entire packaged tool stands upright. The aperture in the package permits a tool's grip to protrude from the package. The one piece cardboard construction with aperture may further enclose a clam or blister package which encloses any non-grip portion of a tool. Tool accessories may be placed and stored within the package. Additional apertures permit hanging onto a projection. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
The invention is directed toward a unique self-locking storage device for collectable cards. The container has an upper member and a lower member which are hingedly connected by a back panel. The upper member of the container fully encloses the lower member of the container when the container is closed. The panels of the upper member of the container present an uninterrupted view of decorative artwork when the container is closed. The container is preferably constructed of an acid-free poly propylene to allow protection of the collectable cards.
Abstract:
A co-layer surface-adhesive rule (SAR) that has a pre-defined cross-section profile. The co-layer surface-adhesive rule (SAR) has two or more layers, wherein at least one layer is made from flexible material and wherein at least two layers differ one from the other.
Abstract:
A machine for diecutting blanks and having a feeding station for sheets, a sheet feeder through the machine for the fed sheets, a sheet diecutting station, a stripping station for free waste cut from the sheets, a blanking and delivery station of the blanks, an evacuation station for waste attached to the blanks and a binder sheet inserting device for inserting binder sheets from a storage pile of binder sheets between the blanks during piling up of the blanks. A feeding compartment receives the storage pile of binder sheets. That compartment occupies a volume situated between the evacuation station of waste attached to the blanks and a machine base. A lifting mechanism lifts the storage pile of binder sheets during insertion of the binder sheets between the piled up blanks.
Abstract:
In the method for production of scored punched parts from a material sheet by a punching and scoring tool the formation of scores in the material sheet is started before the punching process is initiated. The punching and scoring tool has a carrier board, on the underside of which punching elements and scoring elements are provided, and a punching/scoring plate under the carrier board, in which scoring grooves are formed under the scoring elements. The scoring elements in an initial position, in which the scoring elements and punching elements are arranged at a distance from the punching/scoring plate, project further from the carrier board towards the punching/scoring plate than the punching elements. The scoring elements are also mounted flexibly on the carrier board in the lifting direction.
Abstract:
A cushioning dunnage conversion machine for converting sheet-like stock material, such as paper in multiply form, into cut sections of relatively low density pad-like cushioning product, and cutting assembly therefor, is provided. The machine includes a stock supply assembly, a forming assembly, a pulling/connecting assembly and a cutting assembly, all of which are mounted on a machine frame. The machine frame includes a base plate having an upstream end and a downstream end, a first end plate extending generally perpendicular from the upstream end of the end plate and a second end plate extending generally perpendicular from the downstream end of the base plate. The cutting assembly includes an end plate, a first blade mounted on the end plate, a second blade also mounted on the end plate and positioned to coact with the first blade to cut such coined strip into cut sections, a motor for powering the cutting assembly, a cutter linkage connected to one of the blades, a drive linkage pivotally connected to the cutter linkage, a motion disk connected to the drive linkage; and a shaft connecting the motion disk to the motor.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus particularly suited for cutting continuously moving thermoplastic film such as linear low density polyethylene and includes a stationary anvil, preferably a roller of tool steel and a tungsten carbide die mounted for rotation along a circular arc intersecting the anvil. In an embodiment for punching holes in the film, the apparatus includes a saddle shaped hollow tungsten carbide die projecting slightly above the cylindrical surface of a roll passing under a spring biased tool steel roller for cutting a semicircular hole in a continuously moving continuous plastic film web for the manufacturer draw tape bags. A vacuum is supplied to the center of the die for removing the segment of plastic film cut out by the apparatus. In an alternate embodiment, the rotary cutting apparatus includes a tungsten carbide plate member having a straight cutting edge is rotated along a circular arc at the end of support mounted to a shaft to intersect a spring biased roller supported along the arc to cut a perforation in a continuous plastic film passed between the straight cutting edge and roller. The alternate embodiment is suited for employing a plurality of the rotary cutting devices at spaced stations for cutting perforations across a moving film web.
Abstract:
Blanks (10) for producing folding boxes, etc., are severed from an advancing sheet (11), conveyed continuously, at a constant speed by first drawing rollers specifically by partial severing cuts (cutting lines 33, 34) supplementing one another and made in successive work cycles. The blanks (10) are severed from the sheet (11), with the exception of residual connections (35), and are separated completely from the sheet (11) by tearing as a result of a higher speed of additional drawing roller located downstream of the first rollers.
