Abstract: A lensmeter includes a light emission portion, a light reception portion, a storage unit, a display unit and a display control unit. The light emission portion emits light so as to radiate the light onto a lens-to-be-inspected. The light reception portion receives the light transmitted through the lens-to-be-inspected to measure an optical characteristic of the lens-to-be-inspected. The storage unit stores a measured value of the optical characteristic of the lens-to-be-inspected. The display unit displays the measured value of the optical characteristic of the lens-to-be-inspected stored in the storage unit. The display control unit causes the display unit to display a target pattern including at least two different colors, and changes the target pattern in accordance with the measured value stored in the storage unit.
