    摘要: An intermediate electrode at a middle voltage which takes a value between a focusing voltage and an anode voltage is disposed between a focusing electrode and an anode of an in-line type electron gun. The intermediate electrode has a single opening whose diameter in the horizontal direction (in-line direction) is greater than the diameter thereof in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction so as to allow three electron beams to pass therethrough. The intermediate electrode also has a plate electrode provided therein with three electron beam apertures which respectively allow three electron beams to pass therethrough. Inside of the focusing electrode, a plate electrode provided with three electron beam apertures is provided. Here, the relationship between a length Lc which is obtained by adding diameters in the horizontal direction of three electron beam apertures and the lengths in the horizontal direction of bridges disposed between neighboring electron beam apertures of the plate electrode mounted in this focusing electrode and a length Lm which is obtained by adding diameters in the horizontal direction of three electron beam apertures and the lengths in the horizontal direction of bridges disposed between neighboring electron beam apertures of a plate electrode mounted in the intermediate electrode is set to Lc>Lm.

    摘要: In a color picture tube, a main lens of an electron gun is formed by a focus electrode to which a focus voltage, is applied an intermediate electrode to which an intermediate voltage between the focus voltage is applied and an anode voltage, and an anode electrode to which the anode voltage is applied. The focus electrode and the anode electrode are cylindrical, and plate electrodes are secured to the inner walls of the respective focus and anode electrodes, and the intermediate electrode has a construction in which a middle plate electrode is sandwiched between two cylindrical electrodes. Accordingly, it is possible to provide an electron gun which is easy to manufacture and has a superior focus performance and is reduced in performance variability.

    摘要: In a corner portion outside a display region of a face substrate which constitutes a face panel of a display device, an opening is formed. In the opening, a stem glass structural body, which is configured by integrally forming an exhaust pipe on a center portion of a stem glass and by forming conductive leads in a peripheral portion thereof in an embedded manner, is fixed by welding using curing by heating. The exhaust pipe is evacuated and, thereafter, tipped off, thus realizing vacuum sealing of the inside thereof. A lead line is connected to a distal end of one conductive lead by welding and another end of the lead line is electrically connected with one end portion of the anode formed on an inner surface of the face substrate using a conductive adhesive agent. Further, a getter is mounted and fixed to another conductive lead line by welding.

The following relationship is satisfied: 1.55≦D/L≦1.72, and 18.2 mm≦d≦26 mm,where D (mm) is a diagonal length of a usable display area of the phosphor screen, L (mm) is a distance from a center of the phosphor screen to an end of the anode facing toward the focus electrode, and d (mm) is an outside diameter of the neck portion.

The intermediate layer is, for example, an interlayer insulating film formed on the data line or a thick-film electrode layer formed between the scanning line and the spacer. Alternatively, the cathode substrate is formed with recesses in which the data lines are fitted so as to flatten an intersectional portion of the scanning line and the data line.

The image display device also includes partition walls which are arranged on at least some of the scanning signal lines. Further, the current supply electrodes are connected with the electron sources on a downstream side of the scanning signal lines.
