When in a horn non-operating state, a stopper is separated by a distance D2 in the Z-axis direction relative to the airbag module and the distance D2 is farther than the distance D1 of the movable contact and the fixed contact in the Z-axis direction.

摘要： A steering wheel is disclosed enabling suppressing unnecessary rocking of the airbag module during airbag activation and thereby ensures prescribed deployment performance of the airbag cushion. In detail, the steering wheel is provided with a core metal having a boss part configured so as to be mountable on a steering shaft and an airbag module movably provided with respect to the core metal and having an airbag cushion that can be expanded and deployed. The stopper of the core metal is separated from the stopper contact part of the airbag module in a non-activated state of the airbag, and comes into contact with the stopper contact part due to movement or deformation of the airbag module caused by expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion during activation of the airbag.

摘要： A steering wheel having a retaining spring has a pin engagement section that engages with a pin of an airbag module that is positioned inside a mounting hole to install the airbag module on a core bar. A base section of the core bar is provided with a spring mounting section to which the retaining spring is mounted. The spring mounting section includes a main body column section that protrudes from a base surface of the base section and an extension, a base end thereof connected to the main body column section and extending from the main body column section. A mounting section of the retaining spring is positioned between the base surface and the extension and mounted so as to sandwich the main body column section.
