摘要： A color image processing apparatus such as a color copying machine has a color appointing device for enabling an operator to appoint any desired color involved in an original image, a color range changing device for manually or automatically changing the size of range of the colors which can be regarded as being the same as the predetermined color, a target color appointing device for appointing a color to which the predetermined color is to be converted, and a color image forming device such as a laser beam printer for forming a color image with the predetermined color and colors in the color range converted into the target color.

摘要： A color image processing apparatus for converting a predetermined color in color image data into data of desired characteristic extracts density information and hue information with respect to the color image data. Density information and hue information in respect to a predetermined color are set. Judgement is conducted as to whether a first difference between the density information of the color image data and the density information of the predetermined color falls within a first predetermined range and also as to whether a second difference between the hue information of the color image data and the hue information of the predetermined color falls within a second predetermined range. The color image data is converted into the predetermined color on condition that the first and second differences fall within the first and second predetermined ranges, respectively.

摘要： There is provided a color image processing apparatus in which, by making use of an image reading apparatus of a digital full-color copying apparatus, the designated color to be obtained after conversion is input and stored as component ratio of color-separated image data, and monochromatic image data proportional to the gradation levels, e.g., density, lightness, luminance and so forth are obtained from the color separated image data produced from the original image, the monochromatic image data thus obtained being converted into the color separation data corresponding to the component ratio of the designated color to be obtained after conversion, thereby making it possible to preserve the hue of the designated color and to effect color conversion to the designated color having gradation proportional to the gradation of the original image.
