The colorant is used to dye cellulosic and nitrogen-containing fibers in blue shades with excellent reactive fixing properties.

The monoazo dyestuff is especially useful in the dyeing of cellulose-containing fibers and exhibits good fastness properties including good wet color fastness and good light fastness.
