摘要： The image projection apparatus includes an exhaust air outlet through which an exhaust air flows out from an inside of the apparatus to an outside thereof, an air inlet through which an external air flows in from the outside of the apparatus to the inside thereof, a temperature detector which detects a temperature of the external air flowing into the inside of the apparatus through the air inlet, and a controller which performs a protection operation when one of a predetermined temperature corresponding to a temperature of the exhaust air and a predetermined temperature change caused by flowing in of the exhaust air through the air inlet is detected by the temperature detector. The apparatus enables quick detection of a state in which the exhaust air outlet is blocked to perform the protection operation.

摘要： The image projection apparatus includes a temperature detector that detects a temperature inside of the apparatus, and a controller that performs a protection operation when the temperature detected by the temperature detector is higher than a predetermined temperature. The controller measures an elapsed time from when a power of the apparatus is turned on, and changes the predetermined temperature in accordance with the elapsed time. This apparatus can avoid mistaken activation or inactivation of a protection function at the time of re-lighting of the light source due to the influence of the residual heat after the light source is turned off.

摘要： The image projection apparatus includes a temperature detector that detects a temperature inside of the apparatus, and a controller that performs a protection operation when the temperature detected by the temperature detector is higher than a predetermined temperature. The controller measures an elapsed time from when a power of the apparatus is turned on, and changes the predetermined temperature in accordance with the elapsed time. 摘要： An image projection apparatus is disclosed which is capable of reducing noise when airflows from plural flow paths are taken in into a fan and exhausted therefrom. The apparatus comprises a first flow path through which a first airflow for cooling a light source passes, a second flow path through which a second airflow for cooling constituent parts other than the light source passes, a fan which exhausts air introduced from the first and second flow paths to the outside of the apparatus, a third flow path which introduces a third airflow to an exhaust area between the light source and the fan in the first flow path, and a light-shielding member which is provided in the exhaust area and shields the light from the light source.

摘要： The image projection apparatus includes a light source lamp including a discharge light emitting tube and a reflector, the discharge light emitting tube including a light emitting portion disposed inside of the reflector and an electrode portion disposed outside of the reflector, a cooling fan, and a duct configured to guide a cooling air flowed by operation of the cooling fan toward the light source lamp. The duct includes a first air guiding portion and a second air guiding portion that cause parts of the cooling air to respectively proceed toward a first area and a second area opposite to each other on an outer circumferential surface of the light emitting portion, and a third air guiding portion that causes another part of the cooling air to proceed toward the electrode portion.

摘要： The image projection apparatus includes a heat generating member disposed inside the apparatus, an exhaust fan exhausting an air that has cooled the heat generating member to the outside of the apparatus, and a duct guiding the air from the heat generating member to the exhaust fan. An outflow opening of the duct is oriented in a direction different from an inflow direction of the air into an inflow opening thereof. At least one air guiding wall is provided inside the duct, which forms plural airflow paths within a cross section extending along the inflow direction and an outflow direction of the air. The apparatus is capable of reducing unevenness in flow rate of the air when guiding the air toward the exhaust fan using a bent-type duct.
