摘要： This invention relates to a network control verification system, a control communication terminal, a server apparatus, and a network control verification method whereby a user away from a recording apparatus is notified of information such as whether the recording apparatus has completed unattended recording of a broadcast program as reserved. Specifically, a recording/reproducing apparatus 4 records a broadcast program to a recording medium in accordance with unattended recording reservation settings. The apparatus 4 extracts one picture frame from the pictures recorded on the recording medium and turns the extracted frame into a thumbnail image. The recording/reproducing apparatus 4 then transmits an e-mail including a recording start date, a recording start time, a recording stop time, a broadcast channel, and a recording mode regarding the recorded broadcast program to a mobile phone 53 together with an attachment of the thumbnail. By checking the e-mail sent to the mobile phone 53, the user can verify that the recording has been completed as reserved. This invention may be applied advantageously to networked electronic apparatuses.

摘要： This invention relates to a network control verification system, a control communication terminal, a server apparatus, and a network control verification method whereby a user away from a recording apparatus is notified of information such as whether the recording apparatus has completed unattended recording of a broadcast program as reserved. Specifically, a recording/reproducing apparatus 4 records a broadcast program to a recording medium in accordance with unattended recording reservation settings. The apparatus 4 extracts one picture frame from the pictures recorded on the recording medium and turns the extracted frame into a thumbnail image. The recording/reproducing apparatus 4 then transmits an e-mail including a recording start date, a recording start time, a recording stop time, a broadcast channel, and a recording mode regarding the recorded broadcast program to a mobile phone 53 together with an attachment of the thumbnail. By checking the e-mail sent to the mobile phone 53, the user can verify that the recording has been completed as reserved. 摘要： A wireless communication terminal is disclosed which has mass data such as stream data delivered thereto efficiently over a wireless communication network so that the overall utilization efficiency of the network is improved as well. While a wireless communication terminal (100) is receiving stream data for its use, a main controller (120) checks a radio wave reception level LB coming from a receiver unit (103) in the terminal. If the reception level is found to drop below a predetermined level, the main controller (100) causes a frequency synthesizer (105) to control reception frequencies fed to the receiver unit (103) so as to receive radio waves from a plurality of base stations in the vicinity. A search is thus made for a base station which offers a radio wave reception level higher than the predetermined level and which is delivering the stream data in question, and that base station is selected preferentially.

On the basis of the viewing log data and the program attribute of the program guide data, the viewing period of time for each program attribute is summarized and, on the basis of the summarized data, each character image formed by the image data stored in a character data memory is altered in accordance with user's liking in viewing broadcast programs.

摘要： Charged fine particulate water is provided, which has a nanometer particle size, for example, a particle size of 3 to 100 nm, and contains radicals such as hydroxyl radicals and superoxides. This charged fine particulate water can be generated by applying an electric-field intensity of 700 to 1200 V/mm between a pair of electrodes, while supplying water between the electrodes. By allowing the thus obtained charged fine particulate water to diffuse into an indoor space, it is possible to effectively remove bad odor components/bacteria from the indoor space.

摘要： In an electrostatic atomizing hairdryer, electrostatically atomized mist generated in an electrostatic atomizing unit is effectively scattered into airflow emitted from a main body of the hairdryer so that the mist can be sprayed to hair uniformly and a time necessary for treatment of hair can be shortened. A tank constituting the electrostatic atomizing unit is detachably provided on a portion in the vicinity of an outer periphery of the main body, and an electrode unit for generating the mist is provided in a path of airflow sucked in an inside of the main body so as to be insulated from heat of a heating unit by an adiabator. A mist emitting opening from which the mist is emitted is disposed on a plane substantially the same as and at substantially the center of an air exit opening of the main body. Thereby, the mist emitted from the mist emitting opening is effectively scattered into the airflow emitted from the air exit opening.

摘要： An oxidation and reduction fine particles generator includes an atomization electrode, a water feeder for supplying water to the atomization electrode and a high voltage generator, and also includes a switch device and a controller. The switch device changes an operation mode to an oxidation mode or a reduction mode. The controller generates negatively charged fine water particles including radicals through electrostatic atomization by applying a high voltage to water supplied to the atomization electrode in the oxidation mode. The controller also inactivates and activates the water feeder and the high voltage generator, respectively to generate reduction fine particles from the atomization electrode by dry discharge in the reduction mode.
