    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a flexible laminate electronic device and the flexible laminate electronic device itself is disclosed. The method includes placing electronic components over a flexible substrate layer that includes electrical connections between ones of the electronic components. A first flexible additive layer that includes apertures is positioned to align ones of the electronic components in respective ones of the apertures. A subsequent flexible additive layer is arranged over the first flexible additive layer and the apertures are aligned around respective portions of ones of the electronic components protruding above the first flexible additive layer. A flexible cover layer is emplaced over the subsequent flexible additive layer.

    Abstract: The disclosure generally relates in part to a transient wireless communications network that includes a first intelligent node having a processor, a memory communicatively coupled with the processor and storing a predetermined schedule of shipping data for at least one asset, and one or more network communications interfaces to communicate on the transient wireless communications network, the memory storing machine readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to identify, based on referencing the predetermined schedule, a second intelligent node of the transient wireless communication network that is available to communicate with the first intelligent node based on a time slot of the predetermined schedule defining communication between intelligent nodes within the network. The processor may further cause the network communication interface to transmit, during the time slot, data, from the first intelligent node to the second intelligent node.

    Abstract: A plurality of tape agents includes an autonomous master wireless tape agent. The autonomous wireless tape agent includes a first wireless communications interface type operative to communicate over a wireless communications link with an associated secondary wireless agent. The autonomous master wireless tape agent corresponds to a child node in a wireless agent hierarchy. The secondary wireless agent includes a second wireless communications interface type that has a longer wireless communications range than a wireless communications range of the first wireless communications interface type. The secondary wireless agent corresponds to a parent node in the wireless agent hierarchy. The master wireless tape agent governs the wireless communications link and traffic between the master wireless tape agent and the secondary wireless agent. The master wireless tape agent is operative to schedule a designated time slot for each secondary wireless agent transmission. The secondary wireless agent is operative to synchronize its transmit and receive timing with that of the master wireless tape agent and respond to requests received from the master wireless tape agent.

A wireless gateway device is sent to physical premises with a parcel. After the wireless gateway device is delivered to the physical premises, a processor of the wireless gateway device draws power from the energy source to perform operations comprising executing program code stored in non-transitory processor-readable medium to establish a wireless communications connection with a network service through a first type of wireless communications interface. The wireless gateway device performs operations comprising establishing wireless communications with one or more wireless peripheral devices in the physical premises through the second type of wireless communications interface.
