摘要： The present invention is related to a fire-retardant composition comprising: a superabsorbent polymer; a viscosity control agent; and an antimicrobial agent wherein said composition when added to water creates enhanced water mixture appropriate for fire suppression. The present invention provides a fire-retardant composition of starch based superabsorbent polymer with protectant and suppressant action yet safer to the environment. The present invention further provides process, method, use and kit thereof.
