Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter provide a device including a first plurality of pixels, where each pixel in the first plurality of pixels may include a plurality of sub-pixels having a first configuration, and a second plurality of pixels, where each pixel in the second plurality of pixels may include a plurality of sub-pixels having a second configuration different than the first configuration. Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed subject matter provide a device that may include an emissive surface having a plurality of pixels. Each pixel of the plurality of pixels may have three or more sub-pixels. At least one sub-pixel of the three or more sub-pixels may be disposed over at least one other sub-pixel of the three or more sub-pixels. Each pixel of the plurality of pixels may be configured to render a color gamut of at least 85% of a color space.
