Abstract: A network device may receive a PDU session create message associated with establishing a PDU session with a user device and via a RAN, and may receive a first 5QI value and a second 5QI value associated with the PDU session. The network device may attempt to establish the PDU session with the first 5QI value and via the RAN, and may receive an indication that the first 5QI value is not supported for establishing the PDU session. The network device may cause the PDU session to be established with the second 5QI value, and via the RAN, based on the indication that the first 5QI value is not supported for establishing the PDU session.

Abstract: A network device may receive an indication of movement of a user device, associated with multiple packet data unit (PDU) sessions, from a first radio access network (RAN) to a second RAN, and may maintain, based on the indication, a particular PDU session, of the multiple PDU sessions, associated with a default flow. The network device may release, based on the indication, the multiple PDU sessions other than the particular PDU session, and may handle the multiple PDU sessions, other than the particular PDU session, in accordance with a handling option.

Abstract: A session border manager (SBM) may receive a session initiation protocol (SIP) request for a session or a service involving a first user equipment (UE) that is subscribed to a first network and a second UE, that is subscribed to a second network, wherein the SIP request indicates a service type of the session or the service. The SBM may determine, based on the service type, a subnetwork of the second network that is to facilitate the session or the service, wherein the subnetwork is one subnetwork, of a plurality of subnetworks, of the second network that is designated to manage communications that are associated with the service type. The SBM may transmit the SIP request to the subnetwork to cause the subnetwork to initiate the session or the service with the second UE. The SBM may receive, from the subnetwork, a response to the SIP request.

Abstract: A messaging platform may send, based on a query, information identifying one or more virtual assistants to a user device. The messaging platform may receive, from the user device, a response identifying a particular virtual assistant, of the one or more virtual assistants, wherein the virtual assistant is associated with an organization. The monitoring platform may send, to the user device, information related to the particular virtual assistant and may communicate, via the particular virtual assistant, with the user device via a rich communications services (RCS) communication session. The messaging platform may receive, from another device associated with the organization, a request to communicate with the user device and may convert the request into an RCS message. The messaging platform may send, via a server device, the RCS message to the user device to allow the user device to perform one or more actions.
