Abstract: An automatic gain control circuit is disclosed, the circuit being capable of varying an input voltage of a circuit amplifying an AGC voltage by means of a variable resistor, which voltage is to be fed to a high frequency stage of a television receiver. Accordingly, the location of a rising point where the AGC voltage makes a distinct increase on an input-signal intensity AGC voltage characteristic is likewise varied.
