摘要: Disclosed are a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. The signal processing device comprises an equalizer configured to receive an input signal through a channel and equalize the received input signal and a control circuit configured to determine an equalizer control code in response to a first signal output from the equalizer and output the determined equalizer control code to the equalizer, wherein the equalizer may equalize the received input signal based on the equalizer control code. Accordingly, there is an effect of effectively adapting the equalizer even when a channel environment changes.

摘要: An image processing circuit for performing optical image stabilization before lens shading correction. The image processing circuit determines, for each row of pixels in an image captured through an image sensor receiving light through a lens having an optical center with a first offset along a first direction and a second offset along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, a first grid offset along the first direction using the first offset and a coordinate of that row of pixels along the second direction. The image processing circuit determines, for each row of pixels in the image, a second grid offset along the second direction using the second offset and the coordinate of that row of pixels along the second direction. The image processing circuit generates an adjusted grid for the pixels of the image using the first grid offset and the second grid offset.

摘要: A system for processing audio data is disclosed that includes a plurality of gain adjustment devices, each gain adjustment device having an associated audio input frequency band. A plurality of control signal processing systems are configured to receive audio input data for one of the associated audio input frequency bands and to generate a gain adjustment device control signal. The gain adjustment device control signal is configured to decrease a gain setting of an associated gain adjustment device for a predetermined period of time as a function of a transient in the associated audio input frequency band.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a television apparatus includes a speech input unit, an indication input unit, a speech recognition unit, and a control unit. The speech input unit is configured to input a speech. The indication input unit is configured to input an indication to start speech recognition from a user. The speech recognition unit is configured to recognize the user's speech inputted after the indication is inputted. The control unit is configured to execute an operation command corresponding to a recognition result of the user's speech. The control unit, if a volume of the television apparatus at a timing when the indication is inputted is larger than or equal to a threshold, temporarily sets the volume to a value smaller than the threshold while the speech recognition unit is recognizing.

摘要: This technique relates to a receiving device, a receiving method, and a program that can demodulate transmitted signals with high accuracy. A receiving device of this disclosure includes: an amplifying unit that amplifies a received signal; an adjusting unit that adjusts gain of the amplifying unit in accordance with power of the signal; a demodulating unit that demodulates the amplified signal; and a detecting unit that detects an interval from the signal, information having the same content continuously appearing in the interval. The adjusting unit restricts the process of adjusting the gain of the amplifying unit in accordance with a result of the detection of the interval. This disclosure can be applied to receiving devices that receive broadcast signals compliant with DVB-C2 via a CATV network.

摘要: A receiver circuit includes an analog front-end and a digital processing unit. The analog front-end includes an input for receiving a radio frequency (RF) signal, a first control input for receiving a gain adjustment signal, a second control input for receiving a timing signal, and a signal output for providing a digital intermediate frequency (IF) signal. The analog front-end updates gains of a plurality of gain stages according to the gain adjustment signal and in synchronism with the timing signal. The digital processing unit is configured to produce at least one output signal derived from the digital IF signal. The digital processing unit includes a timing recovery circuit configured to generate the timing signal based on the digital IF signal to control timing of the updating gains of each of the plurality of adjustable gain stages.
