Abstract: The system compensates for an absence of a reproduced signal in one channel with a portion of a reproduced signal in another channel. The compensating signal contains its information which is interrelated with that of the signal absence portion. The compensation is performed by a switching pulse having its width corresponding to an interval of the signal absence portion.
