Abstract: A color television picture reproducing device provides varying time lags to a plurality of color signals. These time lags cause an intensity modulation of a plurality of electron beams produced by at least one electron gun unit and not simultaneously concentrated on a particular point on a phosphor screen. Thus, a plurality of television pictures may be reproduced on the phosphor screen by the electron beams striking phosphors on the phosphor screen. These pictures can be made to coincide with one another in space to provide an acceptable reproduced color television picture.
