Abstract: A battery module pair includes a first battery module having a first mounting element, and a second battery module having a second mounting element. Each of the mounting elements comprises a mounting flange. The mounting flanges extend outwards from a side surface of each of said battery modules, and each of the mounting flanges has a mounting hole. The first battery module, and the second battery module are arranged such that the mounting holes of the first mounting element and the second mounting element are in alignment. The first battery module and the second battery module are configured to be fixed in relation to each other at the mounting holes by a fastener such that the mounting flange of the first mounting element and the second mounting element are mechanically coupled.
