Abstract: A network device transmits data to a user equipment (UE) via a first Radio Access Network (RAN) using first Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) congestion control parameters. The network device receives a notification message indicating that the UE has moved from the first RAN to a second RAN, and modifies, responsive to receipt of the notification, the first TCP congestion control parameters to create second TCP congestion control parameters. The network device transmits data to the UE via the second RAN using the second TCP congestion control parameters.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a network device, a credit control request to allocate a quota to a subscriber device. The quota may relate to access, by the subscriber device, to network resources provided by a network provider. The device may determine a subscriber value based on historical usage of network resources by the subscriber device, identify a group value based on historical usage of network resources by a group of subscriber devices with which the subscriber device is associated, and determine a particular quota to allocate to the subscriber device based on a baseline quota, the subscriber value, and a group value. The device may perform one or more actions to cause the particular quota to be allocated to the subscriber device based on determining the particular quota.

Abstract: A computing system contains a processor that is configured to receive, with the user interface, a registered access code and access permissions from a remote user of a property having a property location. The registered access code may be configured to provide access to the property. The access permissions may include a predefined access period that the access code is valid to provide access to the property. The processor may further be configured to receive a provided access code of a local user of the property in response to a user location of the local user being near the property location, match the provided access code with the registered access code, and grant or deny access to the property based in part on the provided access code matching the registered access code and being received within the predefined access period.

The network device monitors for overload conditions based on the overload handling criteria and determines, based on the monitoring, that a potential overload condition exists. The network device receives a first credit control request for a user device, determines a standard resource quota that is responsive to the first credit control request, and allocates an increased resource quota, over the standard resource quota, for the first credit control request. The increased resource quota is based on the potential overload condition and the overload handling criteria. The increased resource quota may prevent the system from reaching a complete overload condition, may reduce overall message traffic, and may provide time for manual or autonomous recovery from the circumstance that caused the potential overload condition.

Abstract: A device sends, based on information indicating that a primary backhaul link of a private network is down, at least one message to a controller of the private network. The at least one message indicates that the controller is to activate at least one route condition policy, and the at least one message, when received by the controller, is to cause the controller to activate the at least one route condition policy. The device sends, based on the information, at least one additional message to a baseband unit (BBU) of the private network. The at least one additional message indicates that the BBU is to apply one or more spectrum sharing parameters for the private network, and the at least one additional message, when received by the BBU, is to cause the BBU to apply the one or more spectrum sharing parameters.
