Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications, and particularly relates to a QoE configuration release method, and a device and a computer-readable storage medium. In the embodiments of the present application, the method comprises: receiving QoE configuration release information sent by a network-side device, wherein the QoE configuration release information includes a release type parameter, which is used for indicating the type of a QoE configuration to be released by a terminal; and according to the release type parameter, determining a target QoE configuration that needs to be released, and releasing the target QoE configuration. In the embodiments of the present application, a terminal releases, according to a QoE configuration type notified by a network-side device, a QoE configuration corresponding to the QoE configuration type notified by the network-side device, such that the QoE configuration can be flexibly released, thereby further improving the system performance.

Abstract: Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) configured to perform quality-of-experience (QoE) measurements in a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include performing QoE measurements for one or more applications operating on a UE application layer and detecting occurrence of at least one event or condition that triggers a RAN-visible QoE(RVQoE) report. Such methods include, based on detecting the occurrence of the at least one event or condition, sending to a RAN node at least one RVQoE report that includes the following: one or more RVQoE metrics or RVQoE values, each based on the QoE measurements performed; and one or more trigger-related indications associated with the detected event or condition. Abstract: An apparatus in a mobile communication network combines information from monitoring IP flows carrying latency sensitive content passing the apparatus and information about the application behavior and target Quality of Experience (QoE) or target connectivity characteristics such as Quality of Service (QoS) from the application to provide ongoing predictions of QoE/QoS. In some cases, the apparatus exploits a probe on a device to generate traffic for learning flow characteristics not obtained from monitoring application IP flows in the network. Embodiments disclosed herein can be used to predict quality metrics for many applications where jitter/latency is a factor affecting perceived quality, such as QoE for a human consumer or QoS for machine type communications. The embodiments are applicable to the analysis of traffic carrying conversational speech.
