摘要： A container and pump device is provided that allows interference in pumping action, caused by collapsing of an inner layer of the container during expulsion of fluid from within the container, to be eliminated. The container can be a laminated bottle having a mouth portion, a body, a bottom portion, and at least an inner layer and an outer layer. The pump device includes a suction portion inserted into the bottle and an operable portion exposed to an outside of the bottle. The suction portion is open to a lower end of the pump and includes a rod extending toward the bottom of the bottle. The rod has a cross-section that extends in more than two directions, preferably an I-beam with a centrally intersecting beam. The suction portion, including the rod, creates several fluid communication paths along the I-beam rod from the inner layer to the pump.

摘要： A low cost trigger sprayer has a housing with a first liquid passage containing a spinner assembly. An elastomeric pump element is positioned generally horizontally such that pulling the trigger retracts the element and releasing the trigger allows the element to extend. The sprayer includes a low cost spinner assembly and low cost valving to control the flow of liquid within the sprayer. In one aspect of the invention, the housing has front and rear sections with the rear section having a saddle portion and being hinged to the front section for pivotal movement from an open position for molding the housing to a closed position for operating the sprayer. In another aspect of the invention, the container has a rear portion which extends upwardly past the neck and defining a saddle recess, with the housing connected to the neck of the container and positioned forwardly of the upwardly extending container portion. The sprayer may include an elastomeric spring for biasing the pump element in the extended position.

摘要： An improved aspirator device for the accurate blending of an additive liquid such as a liquid concentrate with a pressurized stream of a main liquid such as water. The improvement involves the use of a metering means composed of at least two plastic injection molded restrictors in serial communication. Each restrictor has, as its smallest diameter fluid passage, a hollow bore of from about 0.005 inches to 0.010 inches in diameter and from about 0.005 inches to 0.010 inches in length wherein the dimensions of each hollow bore are such to provide a volume:volume dilution ratio of the additive liquid to the main liquid of from about 1:500 to 1:2,500.

摘要： A system for the prevention of jamming of pumps used with containers having a liner therein. The system includes a container having a disposable liner contained therein, a pump and a housing attached to the lower end of the pump. The housing has at least one downwardly extending leg which serves to hold down the disposable liner thereby preventing the pump from being clogged or damaged by pieces of the flexible liner. The housing also has at least one passage therethrough to allow the flow of the medium being pumped upwardly through the housing central cavity. The invention is particularly adapted to the pumping of grease.

The container is provided with a smooth sealable end surface and the connector assembly includes a gasket which closes off the dual passages at the container mouth with there being a seal plate which engages the gasket and provides a liquid product delivery passage and a vent passage. These two passages are separately connected to the pump unit.
