    摘要: An MR method for the reduction of motion artefacts is applicable to procedures where a plurality of MR data sets concerning an object to be examined are acquired successively in time. Because the object to be examined is liable to move during the period of time required to acquire an MR data set for the reconstruction of a high-resolution MR image, the high-resolution MR image often contains disturbing motion artefacts. In order to avoid such motion artefacts in the high-resolution MR images, first a plurality of MR data sets are acquired for low-resolution MR images; this operation can be performed within a shorter measuring period. Image transformation parameters are determined from the comparison of the low-resolution images so as to be taken into account for the reconstruction of the high-resolution MR image from the MR data sets acquired.

In phase-contrast imaging, different types of image information, e.g. absorption image information and differential phase-contrast image information, may be obtained by a single image acquisition process. Individual types of image information comprise different image properties. The present invention relates to a frequency dependent combination of different types of image information to obtain a combined image having improved properties over the individual image information and their respective image information type. Accordingly, an apparatus (56) as well as a method (100) for image processing in X-ray imaging of an object is provided comprising receiving (102) first image information of the object of a first image information type, receiving (104) second image information of the object of a second image information type,wherein the second image information type is different from the first image information type. Subsequently the first image information and the second image information is combined (106) to obtain combined image information of the object, wherein the combination of the first image information and the second image information is a frequency-dependent combination, depending on the spatial frequency of the first image information and the second image information.

    摘要: A method is provided for imaging a portion of a patient that moves as a patient breathes. A motion map is produced of the portion's motion during a breathing cycle of the patient. A scanning protocol is generated using information obtained from the motion map for a given source/detector position and a given point in the breathing cycle. The scanning protocol comprises at least one setting for at least one imaging apparatus component such that a desired amount of x-ray dosage is applied to the portion of the patient at the given source/detector position and the given point in the breathing cycle. An imaging scan is performed of the portion of the patient. The at least one imaging apparatus component is adjusted during the imaging scan.

    摘要: In phase-contrast imaging, different types of image information, such as absorption image information and differential phase-contrast image information, may be obtained by a single image acquisition process and have different image properties. A frequency dependent combination of different types of image information is obtained, the combined image having improved properties over the image information and respective image information types. Accordingly, an apparatus and a method for image processing in X-ray imaging of an object is provided, including receiving first and second image information of the object of first and second image information types, respectively, where the second image information type is different from the first image information type. The first and second image information is combined to obtain combined image information of the object, where the combined image information is frequency-dependent, depending on spatial frequencies of the first and second image information, respectively.
